A team of researchers at UAS is working on improving snowpack modeling for river and avalanche forecasting. Our main study site is the Fish Creek Basin around Eaglecrest. You can help us by collecting snow depth measurements if you are traveling through the backcountry. Taking, recording, and submitting measurements is easy -- all you need is a probe and an app on your phone. Additional information, including how to access the app, can be found in the attachment.
