Biography
Bill Urquhart is a Professor of Sociology and Campus Director for the UAS Ketchikan Campus Director, which includes the UAS Maritime Training Center. Dr. Urquhart was born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska, from a family long involved in commercial fishing. Bill enjoys spending time with his family, plays the bagpipes with Ketchikan's Misty Thistle Pipes & Drums, and spends spare time fishing, hunting, and attending performing arts events in Ketchikan.
