UAS Court Time is a great way to get regular exercise and to play a group sport.
Court athletic balls are available from behind the REC service desk and only take your Whale Card as collateral.
UAS Court Time Options
Basketball this spring semester is on Tuesday and Thursday nights (7–9:45 p.m.).
During these evenings the REC provides the court, nets, balls, and refreshments at our service desk.
To join the basketball Remind text group text @uasrec-bb to the number 81010 or text @uasrec-bb to (563) 265-6842. This text group will be used sparingly and only for basketball announcements such as court or building closures that effect basketball.
Volleyball this spring semester is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights from 7pm-9:45pm.
During these evenings the REC provides the court, nets, balls, and refreshments at our service desk.
To join the volleyball Remind text group text @rec-volley to the number 81010 or text rec-volleyball to (563) 265-6842. This text group will be used sparingly and only for volleyball announcements such as court or building closures that effect volleyball.
Racquet sports include badminton and pickleball this spring semester. Reserved times are Sunday 2pm-5pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm-7pm. (Starting Mar. 16, 2025)
During these times the REC provides the court, balls, paddles, birdies, nets (pickleball), and refreshments at our service desk. During racquet court times the court accommodates up to three courts running across the full-court gym. Outside of these dedicated nights, and not during other dedicated court times, there can only be one net set on the court so as to accommodate multiple sports on the court. When the center court divider is down due to NYO or P.E. Classes, no nets are permitted.

Traditional Games is a student club at UAS. The club has use of the court on Sunday and Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
